  Best two things to do here: Indoor winter market on Saturdays and Andersen Pens. The market is full of passionate people who've grown or made beautiful products. Everyone has an interesting story and strong values, believes in what they're doing as small businesses, and produces something delightful. Great food (try Irresistibly Healthy's soup, oh my god), GF products, funny custom coasters, great fudge, wonderful natural soap, warm winter clothes, funky and lovely jewelry for men and women, crystals and stones for collectors, seasonal decorations and produce. It's all there. Anderson Pens really deserves its own review. Suffice to say if you live in the Valley and want the best selection of quality stationery, blank books, pens, accessories, pencils, art materials, notebooks, and ink, don't go anywhere else. The prices may be considered high for some--don't shop here for your grade schooler's yearly stuff unless you're fiscally prepared--but it's all worth it. And the staff members are helpful, knowledgeable, and always just as happy as you are over excellent quality writing materials. (No they're not paying me, lol, in fact I've spent enough there to buy a car. Check out their website though. For real. )
